Top deadliest tourist destinations in the world

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word –Vacation? Well, vacations are more often linked to refreshment and relaxation, aren’t they? Perhaps, there are people who are more into the mysterious side of it; they are more courteous to deadly stuff rather than seeking relaxation. If you are one among them, then here are some of the perfect destinations in the world that are the deadliest. You can visit them to stare death right at the eye. Let’s get started with the list of some of those places.

  1. Volcano Tours in Hawaii: Do you belong to the group of people whose idea of a vacation is checking out an active volcano? Then you can travel to Hawaii then. The National Park Service that provided cycle tour to the visitors was shut down recently as three deaths were reported. Not only deaths but reports of serious injuries experienced by the tourists have been reported throughout the year. The National Service Park charges $100 to the tourists to take them to visit an active volcano.
  2. Half Dome of Yosemite National Park: Around 60 people have reportedly died on their hiking journey to the Half Dome. When you cover 1500 metres of your journey you will have burnt around 4000 to 9800 calories. However, the toughest part is to complete the last 120 metres as the slope is nearly vertical. It is done with the help of metal cables though, problems do occur during this part of the hiking trip.
  3. The Colorado River System: While rafting in the white water can sound like something interesting to be done with the whole family, the Colorado River System has constantly reported fatal accidents and deaths lately. The melting of the snow capes from the Colorado mountain ranges are adding up to the problems faced by the tourists here. There have been 12 deaths and more than 170 injured tourists reported in recent times.
  4. Cliffs of Moher: One of the most breath-taking (in a literal sense) and the picturesque view is offered in Ireland, at the Cliffs of Moher, where you can look over the avid Atlantic Ocean. Though the beauty is unobstructed, the perils of life offered are unobstructed too. Close to the parking area the safe trails of the Cliffs of Moher begin, however, the potential risky ways are much more than they are actually safe. The entire area is filled with warnings for people to maintain a distance from the walls.
