Your design can shape a better future International Sustainable Design Awards 2026 Call for Global Entries

The Hong Kong Arts and Sustainable Design Association (HKASD) is pleased to announce the International Sustainable Design Awards 2026 (ISDA 2026). This prestigious program celebrates innovative and impactful design solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future. 

ISDA is a global platform closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), recognising design excellence that integrates innovation, sustainability values, and positive social impact. Open to individuals, teams, and organisations worldwide across diverse nationalities, genders, and age groups, ISDA promotes a fair and inclusive evaluation and encourages forward-thinking solutions that respond to environmental and community needs.

Building on the success of ISDA 2025, which attracted nearly one thousand submissions from over 23 countries with the support of more than 50 international professional organisations and institutions, ISDA 2026 will further champion responsible and forward-thinking design across six design disciplines, including the newly introduced Fashion Design, alongside Architectural & Interior Design, Brand Design, Digital Design, Product Design, and Visual Communication Design. 

Outstanding works will receive official ISDA recognition and global promotion opportunities, including multi-platform exposure reaching millions, features in the ISDA Winners’ Special ePublication (with ISBN), dedicated advertising pages, and inclusion in the ISDA Winners’ Digital Gallery. Recognised designers and teams will also be invited to share their winning stories and brand highlights at ISDA’s annual Awards Ceremony, engaging an international audience of design leaders, brand representatives, and potential partners. To further strengthen global engagement and cross-border collaboration, winners will also gain access to the online Business Networking & Matching Session, a digital exchange platform designed to connect international winners across time zones and enable them to explore partnership opportunities beyond borders.

Calling for entries from international design talent until 13 April 2026

The ISDA 2026 is currently accepting entries from global designers, brand owners and design audiences with an unlimited number of entries. Submissions will be judged on the four main judging criteria: Creativity, Sustainability, Aesthetics, and Impact. ISDA believes that by emphasising these values, it can encourage innovative solutions that address current challenges and pave the way for a sustainable future.
