Inspired by true events, Dhurandhar 2 has been a massive success. The movie builds on the popularity of Dhurandhar Part 1, offering viewers an exciting mix of action, intrigue, mystery, revenge, patriotism, politics and espionage. Box office collections have been massive, with estimates of around Rs 1,850 crore. Dhurandhar 2 is now also available to watch on JioHotstar OTT.

Dhurandhar 2 is written and directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande. Music for Dhurandhar 2 is provided by Shashwat Sachdev. The movie was produced with a budget of Rs 255 crore, which includes the cost of Part 1 as well. And with earnings of more than Rs 1,800 crore, it is evident that Dhurandhar 2 has been a major commercial success.

Dhurandhar 2 review

Dhurandhar 2 runtime is around 3 hours 49 minutes. Even with such a long runtime, there is hardly any dull moment in the film. At every turn, there is a new twist that keeps the audience glued. Just when you think you can predict what is going to happen next, an exciting new turn in the story changes your perceptions. The story of Dhurandhar 2 also keeps delving into the past, which adds another layer of intrigue.

Spy movies are always loved, and Dhurandhar 2 closely matches that theme. The story continues from Part 1, where undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi (played by Ranveer Singh) infiltrates one of the leading gangs in Lyari (Karachi). He works under the acquired identity of Hamza Ali Mazari and continues to pass on secret information to protect the interests of the country.

Ranveer Singh has received major appreciation for his performance, where he dominates with brutal force and unforgiveness. Dhurandhar 2 has high energy action sequences. These are well choreographed and offer a good mix of realism and filmmaking creativity.
